Michael Kimsal

Michael Kimsal has spent 15 years in the web development world, starting with Perl in late 1995 and PHP in early 1996, then working with ASP, ColdFusion, Java and most recently Ruby and Groovy.

Michael currently runs WebDev Publishing, which publishes PDF publications such as GroovyMag and JSMag, produces the indieconf conference for independent web professionals, runs the WebDev Radio podcast series, and is an occasional speaker at regional technology conferences and user groups.

He can be found in and around the RDU Triangle area, running the regional PHP/MySQL user group, or meeting with other area tech folk. He currently lives in Youngsville with his wife and three cats.
